I am clinging to the last moments before I must return to schoolwork and a schedule. Not having but 2 days of class since before Thanksgiving is going to make tomorrow morning rough. Nevertheless I am grateful for 2013 and excited for 2014.
2013 was a year of rest, refreshment, and receiving…
A year of education in a great program accompanied by the best (future) OT’s
Time with old friends
and new ones that are more like family
and new family
Friends that are eager for adventure and undeterred by a (little) challenge
Women that speak wisdom, life, and encouragement
A (second) family in NC
and sweet time with (my own) family over the holidays
And 2014: it promises adventure.
I am looking forward to a year of excitement and adventure. I have big hopes.[Insert graduation, clinicals in Malawi, and the openness of opportunities after getting my degree]
