Throughout the summer thus far, I have been trying to figure out exactly who I am—aside from the pressures and expectations of friends and family. However, I have been going about it the wrong way. I have been trying to figure out exactly who I am. Instead, just yesterday God reminded me that He knows who I am as do many others. I am His child. I am His daughter, and I love Him a lot. It is quite amazing how quickly God responds when we come before Him and say here I am God. Although I want to be stretched and expect to have God push me to trust Him more and continue to surrender every aspect of my life, I often forget that He also sends encouragement in those times. And that is just what He has done. Even though I thought I was doing just fine—that I didn’t need a lot of encouragement, I am overwhelmed by the encouragement that He has sent. I cannot express how much your encouragement through the letters, messages, and emails means to me. It is such a blessing from God to know that all of you are supporting me and praying for me and what God is doing here in Ensenada, so I just want to take the time to say thank you.
